When you apply for a job advertised on the JSE, the application goes through to the organisation that has placed the ad, meaning you leave the JSE from the moment you click 'Apply Now' on an ad.
Each Government Department and Agency manages its own recruitment, including the application tracking system (ATS) they use to recruit.
Springboard ATS
To withdraw your JSE applications from the Springboard ATS,
- log into the JSE website
- Click ‘Apply Now’ on any 'Department of Education' job advertisement.
- Select 'User Control' panel on the right
- Select 'My Applications', you will see all of your applications.
- Select the tick box to withdraw the application
- Start a new application for the same position if you need to edit an application
Please note that you can only withdraw and edit an application when the job ad is still live. If you withdraw your application after the ad has closed your application will no longer be considered by recruiters.
If the job ad has closed leave your application and contact the job ad contact/HR team at the department or agency you applied with to supply the changes necessary.
Other ATS
If you need support with withdrawing from a different ATS, contact the HR team or hiring manager directly.
You can find contact details on the Departments and agencies list.
